The Bladder Surgery department at GMS provides expert surgical solutions for a wide range of urological conditions, from bladder cancer to incontinence and bladder stones. Treatment options include both minimally invasive and major procedures such as Transurethral Resection (TUR), Partial or Total Cystectomy, and Bladder Reconstruction. These surgeries are designed to restore urinary function, remove cancerous tissue, or reconstruct the bladder using innovative methods like Urostomy or Bladder Augmentation. Our surgical team carefully considers each patient’s diagnosis and needs to choose the most effective and least invasive approach whenever possible.

In addition to cancer-related surgeries, the department also offers corrective procedures for urinary incontinence, including Retropubic Suspension and Urethral Sling techniques, tailored to each woman’s condition. Men and women with bladder dysfunction may also benefit from Artificial Urinary Sphincter implantation, which provides restored control when muscle weakness is present. Bladder stone removal, via cystoscopy or suprapubic cystostomy, is performed for patients experiencing blockages or complications due to stone formation.
